大江東去，浪淘盡，千古風流人物。

The big river flows to the East. The heroes had already faded away.



故壘西邊，人道是，三國周郎赤壁。

On the West of the ancient fortress , where people said that is the place Zhou Yu had defeated Cao Cao.



亂石崩雲，驚濤裂岸，捲起千堆雪；

Turbulent waves strike against the shore , rolling up countless snow white sprays.



江山如畫，一時多少豪傑。

The landscape just likes a beautiful painting, where there were once so many heroes.



遙想公瑾當年，小喬初嫁了，雄姿英發，

Thinking back the moment when the beauty was getting married, Zhou Yu was so daring and energetic.



羽扇綸巾，談笑間，強虜灰飛煙滅。

Zhou Yu taking feathering fan and pleasantly smiling maneuvered behind the scene and controlled the battle from a great distance away.



故國神遊，多情應笑我，早生華發。

Being attracted toward the Three Kingdom Era , people should laughed at my unnecessary passion and I’m already covered with sliver hairs.

長江滔滔向東流去，時間帶走了歷史上的風雲人物。古老堡壘的西邊，聽人家說，就是三國時代周瑜打敗曹操的赤壁。超過雲端的亂石，使雲都被它撞碎，洶湧的波濤，衝擊岸邊，捲起無數雪白色的浪花。景色美麗的如一幅畫，當時英雄豪傑是如此的眾多。
追想遙遠的當年，小喬出嫁時，公瑾的雄姿是如此的意氣風發。當年，周瑜手拿著羽毛扇，頭帶著青絲帽，在悠閒的言談笑語間，強大的曹軍戰船，就被火燒得煙灰四散，全軍覆沒。
徘徊在這三國孫吳舊地，緬懷三國時代那些風流人物的風采，心中有著無限的嚮往。然而，如今的我，已是滿頭的白髮，很難像周郎的英年有為了，又何必那麼嚮往古人，而自作多情呢？
人生就像一場夢，倒不如斟上一杯酒，面對著長江和明月的美景獨自飲酌，以抒發情懷，同時以酒灑祭江中的明月。
