I think what you said is quite true. Actually my grandmother & father both have diabetes & my grandmother has high blood pressure when she had bad health before she died. My father sometimes has high blood pressure when he's in bad health too. So high blood pressure may be related to diabetes. I need to be very careful too in my diets (now I'm still not) as I may have bigger tendency in getting diabetes.
