The 68 year Uranus = Saturn / Pluto cycle revisited

U=S/P

What does this formula mean? It defines that time when Uranus is crossing over the midpoint of Saturn and Pluto. This is a three planet link up which is different in meaning from an aspect relationship which has to do with a specific angular relationship between just two planets.

The U = S/P is the longest period midpoint cycle between these three particular planets. What makes the U=S/P significant to our study of the long term market cycle is it occurs at a periodicity of about the average lifespan of a human being. History creeps along at this pace repeating itself with events that should be a warning ... but those who remember the exact history because they lived it 68 years previously are dead or are unable to connect the dots due to memory deterioration or are simply ignored by younger people who think the opines of the old are irrelevant. History repeats itself because frankly PEOPLE ARE INDEED SO STUPID... This is a reason why historians need to avoid ANY bias in the way they record the facts. If we don't have the unbiased facts about what was going on 68 years ago we cannot recognize how history is repeating in the present so as to avoid the bad consequences.

The reason this web site was started in 1996 was so I could publish my findings about this particular cycle I discovered doing research in the mid 1980s. I have joked about getting a Nobel prize for this discovery and well ... it is not really a joke because I deserve it more than the ones who are getting it.. Because the cycle is generated by planets with elliptical orbits and is viewed by us from earth (which produces the illusion of planets moving backward in retrograde motion) the cycle markers occur over a broad window lasting over a few years.. The more specific timing using the ASPECTS between Saturn Uranus and Pluto can make recognizing the specific events along the broad cycle windows very easy.

The last time U=S/P was in 1996 and 1997. This was the shift point in a major rotation of world power. USA domination reached it's peak in 1997. From that time on China began the long march to eventual world domination in the 2060s that the USA was slowly sliding down from.

Let us consider what happened in the USA at the 96-97 peak we just had. It was inevitable that the US could not sustain itself as dominant because in the final 10 or so years prior to peak much of the vitality which was seen was accomplished by borrowing from the future. Tomorrow came on 9/11/2001. That singular event was an inflection point that anyone who looks carefully after reading this essay will conclude was confirmation the decline from the top for the USA is well underway.

The highest peak of power at the shift point dovetails with a lowest low in "moral" values. The Clinton Admin destruction of the US economy was by means of corrupting free markets with blatant manipulation for short term gains. Monika was another sign of the times peak in low morals. My thesis is that the low in MORAL VALUES becomes the whipping boy for blame after the peak in power starts to become obvious. Scapegoats are needed if you don't want to take responsibility for your now tenuous position. It was Jews in Germany and today it seems to be gays Arabs and "liberals". The neocons of 2005 attempts to enforce a new morality on us all is misguided because they don't have real morals based on REAL TRUTH themselves. I fear the USA is going to go down the road of Nazi Germany completely unless this changes REALLY FAST. The parallels are getting obvious.

A not so strange thing to consider now. If you take 68 years and add it to 1933 (when the Reichstag fire gave Hitler the ability to take over the German government) it equals 2001... We know now that the Reichstag fire was a false flag operation to give Hitler a "reason" to take over government by force and to then to systematically destroy civil liberty thereafter to remain unchallenged. It is more than interesting that so many little pieces of evidence keeps coming up that 911 may have been the same sort of thing. I don't think it matters if 911 was an inside job. The event was used in the same way as the Reichstag fire was is all that matters.

All this emphasis on nationalism, the militarization of society, identifying The Leader as the nation, a constant state of fear and anxiety heightened by the authorities, repressive laws that shred constitutional guarantees of due process, wars of aggression launched on weaker nations, the desire to assume global hegemony, the merging of corporate and governmental interests, vast mass-media propaganda campaigns, a populace that tends to believe the slogans and lies it's fed without asking too many questions, a timid opposition that barely contests the administration's reckless adventurism abroad and police-state policies at home, etc. etc.

The parallels are not exact, of course; America in 2003 and Germany seventy years earlier are not the same, and Bush certainly is not Adolf Hitler. But there are enough disquieting similarities in the two periods at least to see what we can learn -- cautionary tales, as it were -- and then figure out what to do with our knowledge.

It is downright scary to add 68 years to 1942 which equals 2010. Saturn and Pluto will be squared then. Nasty indeed. And THEN consider that 68 plus 1944 -1945 is 2012... the 1945 victory by the up and comer the USA was accomplished by means of nuclear we ponds.

A quote from the book "Defying Hitler," by the noted German journalist/author Sebastian Haffner. He lived very consciously during the previous cycle 68 years ago. Historical markers in Germany are repeating today. I think this is almost too scary to deal with for most people.

They are under a spell. They live a drugged life in a dream world.
