1.Subclinical Pregnancy ﹝只是驗孕有反應﹞
As with normal couples, subclinical or "biochemical" pregnancies occur in which the only clinical evidence of pregnancy is a rising level of beta-hCG. Its significance for subsequent IVF success is unclear, with studies reporting significantly lower163 and higher164 outcomes for the next IVF attempt.

Tubal implantation occurs in approximately 4% to 5% of IVF pregnancies,1 but almost entirely in women with tubal disease.165 In some instances it may occur in the presence of extensive adhesions, which would make laparoscopic salpingostomy difficult or impossible. For this reason, and because the duration of the pregnancy is well defined, methotrexate is a particularly valuable tool as a noninvasive treatment for this complication. Cornual,166 ovarian,167 and cervical pregnancies168 have all occurred with IVF. Cornual pregnancy occurs mainly after salpingectomy,166 and cervical pregnancies may be associated with lower uterine transfer.168
4.Heterotopic Pregnancy ﹝子宮內及子宮外孕﹞
Coexistence of tubal or cornual pregnancy and intrauterine pregnancy is an uncommon complication of IVF-ET,163 but it is particularly hazardous because of difficult diagnosis.169 We currently perform vaginal ultrasound scans of the adnexa 3, 4, and 6 weeks after transfer, and advise patients to watch for significant pain. In most instances, surgery does not disturb the uterine implantation.
