葉慈W. B. Yeats (1865-1939)
於1889年所發表的同名詩作,
是他早期偏向浪漫主義時的作品。

葉慈的創作常由愛爾蘭神話中取材,
像這首詩的内容便是一則神話,
仙子誘領一群孩童跟隨她進入仙境,
因爲人間會讓這些孩子失去純真。

Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping

是葉慈在這首詩裏主要想表達的idea。

葉慈的墓誌銘也讓人印象深刻，
用的是他晚年詩作
"Under Ben Bulben" 的最後幾句：
