I have the same problem in tooth, a swollen gum due to problem in root canal. This problem comes and goes once a year, for ~10 years. I take aspirin (anti-inflamatory) and the problem goes away in 3 days. Or depend on the position(number) of tooth, you can put a piece of tape wrap with crushed aspirin powder on gum above the tooth. Your tooth problem will be gone in 2 or 3 days. I also recommend to include a little antibiotics(like amoxicillin). You should/can eat both and put both on your gums.
My life, is just like yours, a lot of 7-kill in BaZi.
Please do it as soon as you can , otherwise, it is damaging your bone under tooth and gums.

What I said/did is endorsed by a dentist and a physician, as a temporary relief.

Your swollen gums (with aspirin and antibiotics)should getting better now. I have been doing this way for ~10 years. I also recommend to rinse your mouth with Listerine everyday. Your tooth (after root canal) is dead. Food debris tends to penetrate into your gum. Make sure you use dental floss to remove trapped food debris and rinse with Listerine everyday.
