Trade off ****

有個男人已經超厭煩他每天都要上班但是他老婆卻待在家裡。
A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while
his wifestayedhome.

他希望他老婆知道他每天過的是什麼樣的日子，所以他向上帝禱告
說，『親愛的主，我每天上班投入八個鐘頭的時間但是我老婆只待在家裡而已。我
希望她知道我過得是什麼日子，所以請讓我們的身體交換‧‧‧』

He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed,
Dear Lord, I go towork every day and put in 8 hours while
my wife merely stays at home. I want her to know what I go
through, so please create a trade in our bodies..

上帝，以祂無比的智慧，成就了這個男人的願望‧‧‧

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish...

隔一天，很確定的，這男人起床成了個女人‧‧‧

The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman..

他起床、為他的伴侶作早點、叫醒孩子們、替孩子穿制服、餵他們吃早餐、替他們
裝便當、載他們上學、回家路上要去洗衣店收送衣服還要到銀行存錢、到菜市場買
菜、然後回家把菜放一邊、還要開支票付帳、記帳。
He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids,
set out their school clothes,fed them breakfast, packed
their lunches, drove them to school, came home and picked
up the dry cleaning, took it to the cleanersand stopped at
the bank to make a deposit, went grocery shopping, then
drove home to put away the groceries,paid the bills and
balance the check book.

他清了貓的砂盒後還替狗洗澡。
He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog.

然後時間已經下午一點鐘了，他趕快把棉被折好、洗衣服、吸地板、掃地板、擦廚
房地板‧‧‧衝到學校去接小孩然後一路上和小孩大小聲。

Then it was already 1p.m. and he hurried to make the beds,
do the laundry,vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen
floor.. Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into
an argument with them on the way home.

回家幫孩子準備點心和牛奶，讓孩子乖乖地寫功課，然後他把燙馬擺好一邊燙衣服
一邊看電視。
Set out cookies and milk and got the kids organized to do
their homework,then set up the ironing board and watched TV
while he did the ironing.

下午四點半，他開始削馬鈴薯、洗菜準備作沙拉、烤肉餅、"西"敏荳仔，為晚餐準
備‧‧‧

At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables
for salad, breadedthe pork chops and snapped fresh beans
for supper..

晚餐後他要整理廚房、洗碗、把收好的衣服摺好、哄小孩睡覺。
After supper he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher,
folded laundry,bathed the kids, and put them to bed.

晚上九點，他已經累壞了但是他白天的雜務還沒作完，不管了，他衝上床想休息了
，但是還要"嘿咻嘿咻"，而且還要設法不要抱怨‧‧‧

At 9 p.m.he was exhausted and, though his daily chores
weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to
make love" which he managed to get through without
complaint...

隔天他一起床，立刻靠著床邊跪下來跟上帝說，『主啊！我不知道我之前在想什麼
，現在我知道我實在錯得離譜，錯到去妒嫉我老婆整天在家，求求您，讓我們換回
來‧‧‧』

The next morning he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed
and said,Lord,I don't know what I was thinking. I was so
wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay home all day.
Please, oh please, let us trade back..

主，以祂無比的智慧，回答他，『孩子，我知道你已經學到教訓而且我也很願意把
你們兩換回來』

The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied, My son, I feel
you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change
things back to the way they were.

『但是，你還要等九個月，因為昨天晚上你懷孕了‧‧‧』

You'll have to wait nine months, though. You got pregnant
last night..
