We are about same age and some of the issues you discussed about future, career, and your mother - I can sort of understand. Although not exactly sure what your parents' are like, but I think most of parents want the best for their kids. Of course, the definition of "best" depends on everyone. Have you communicated with your family about what is "best" for you and what exactly do you want in life?

我想每個人的父母都不同,不論是成長背景,個性還是處世都不一樣,
我的母親漢其他媽媽相同的是他都希望女兒嫁的好...
和一般媽媽不同的是她很堅持一定要經濟在水準之上(例如醫生,企業家第二代之類的)
問題是...這樣的經濟能保證什麼呢? 這樣的職業的人一堆婚姻不順外遇的一堆...
但我媽不接受,他覺得這是起碼的條件....
我姐就因為這樣和別的男生私奔私下結婚,鬧得滿城風雨....已經跟我媽絕裂了...
記得分手那天我男友忽然問我一句話:你姐結婚後有回家過嗎?
我一直在思索,他為何無端問這句話...真的不了解他的想法....
