I see no easy way out for your finance. I think you may want to move your investment into a living trust and name your family as the beneficiary (Assuming they have better luck than you). You also want to stay away from making investment decision. A common sense is that you could use index funds and diversify your investment.

I am planning to trade (not investment/ buy and hold) using other people's picks. Because of trading, it have less chance to lose large amount as money is back in my pocket. Is that a workable plan?
If workable, would it be better if I trade (not invest) more fire related stocks?
Bottomline is, my skill are really applicable here in Canada and starting a business is also quite risky as a large sum of money have to be spent and hard to get back that money ...
