We usually look at a horoscope as a static image, but when we bring in forecasting, it is taken then as a dynamic entity.

The whole issue of forecasting is based on the idea that people are not happy with their current situation or that they may become dissatisfied when they find out what they may expect during their lifetime. If they are unhappy or dissatisfied, they want to know when will their destiny change.

To find out when, we have the various forecasting techniques, but we should never forget that eighty percent (80%) of everything depends on the natal chart.

Forecasting is based on the natal. The natal chart shows the possibilities and the limitations. The natal chart answers the question of "WHAT" to expect during the lifetime.

The different forecasting techniques, i.e. Primary and Secondary Directions, Solar and Lunar Returns, Transits, answer only the question "WHEN".

Nothing may happen for the good or the bad as a possibility beyond what is indicated in the natal chart. We are how we are as depicted in the natal. A person cannot improve limitlessly. The natal shows the limits.

On the other, the limits seen in the natal concern living and interacting in our day-to-day world. From the viewpoint of metaphysics, the human being is completely free, and in his or her essential nature goes completely beyond the horoscope and astrology, but the inclination to do so must be seen already in the natal.
