Thanks for your prompt response. What I don't quite understand is when you said it's not a favorable year... Does that mean that I will be laid off or something like that?

What's suitable for me? I'm a computer programmer and I'm thinking to switch to other industry if there is a chance. I know it might sound ironic but I do believe "fate" even if I'm working in a high-tech environment.
