印尼爪哇地區發生規模7.1強震，目前已發布海嘯警報，警報範圍達美國西部地區。
根據美國地質研究所(UGS) 指出，台北時間今(6)中午12點42分，震央位於東經138.455度、南緯3.53度的印尼巴布亞地區，距離首都雅加達256公里，地震深度75公里，屬於深層地震；目前已對印尼西岸、美國東岸與阿拉斯加海岸地區發布海嘯警報。
