Can i use ‘希’ to test whether all this while did he play me a fool? Did he ever love me?

I have just met a guy and we like each other but just dont have a chance to get together then ve already lost contact, just wanna to use '緣‘ to test whether i still can have a chance to meet him? Should i go back at the end of the year to see him? Do we have future? Or should i wait for a better guy? thank u so much
