Jakarta, January 10: Funeral arrangements for former president Soeharto have been confirmed by the Indonesian military, or TNI, reports the Jakarta Post.
It has prepared five aircraft to carry the former president, his family and mourners to the Soeharto family cemetery in Mangadeg, central Java, the newspaper says.
Three military ceremonies are planned for the former president’s burial.
“Preparations by the Indonesian military (TNI) for the former presidents funeral are made so that the military can carry out its duty once ordered to do so by the government, the newspaper quoted

Soeharto, 86, remains in a critical condition at Jakarta's Pertamina hospital where he was admited last Friday.
“Indications are that his health is in decline', said his physician, Dr Mardjo Soebiandono earlier this week.
“His heart isn't strong enough to pump blood,” he said
Visitors to the hospital have included former general and now president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, former state secretary major general Benni Moerdiono, all six of Soeharto's children, his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
Soeharto was charged with embezzling US$571 million but his failing health gave the state prosecution cause to drop the case against him in 2000.
But prosecutors say a civil action will continue and will be taken against his family should he die. transfer
