在世紀浩劫─印度洋地震海嘯發生後，我們看到大自然向人類發威時那巨大無比的威力，也體會到當那一波又一波的巨浪打來時，人類也只能像海灘上的沙粒般，無助的被捲入海裡，是浮是沉，是生是死，只能聽天由命。

人類與宇宙大地相比，雖然渺小，卻被譽為萬物之靈。這是因為我們有靈性，有良知。當這世紀浩劫發生之後，許多國家都紛紛伸出援手，派送藥物，乾糧食水，醫護人員和大筆的捐款予受災國。我們也從報章上看到許許多多感人肺腑的救災畫面與報道，真正體會到何謂雪中送炭。可是印尼亞齊省米拉務鎮的災民，卻在全世界的注目下，趁火打劫，而且還專劫當地同是災民的華人！

古人有句話︰“一樣米養百樣人”。同樣是萬物之靈，但是亞齊省的印尼人所體現出來的良知卻渾然不同。都已經“同是天涯淪落人”了，為什麼還要在受苦的人身上踩上一腳？他們的所作所為，把人類丑惡的一面發揮得淋漓盡致。

印尼華僑從1965年的流產政變，到1998年的騷亂排華，以及今天面對海嘯災難的當兒，還必須被洗劫一番，這雪上加霜的滋味，必定讓同是身為華人的我們感到心酸。雖然印尼華人只佔全國總人口的4%，卻憑著中華民族擁有的刻苦耐勞精神，及在商場上的長袖善舞，掌握了印尼國家的經濟命脈。一個人口達2億1千萬的國家經濟，大部份都靠這4%的華人支撐。可悲的是，每當一有任何天災人禍，首當其衝被迫害的總是華人。為什麼沒有人對印尼的人權問題提出質問？只因受害的是華人嗎？

或許因為華人承載了5千年的優良文化，知道忍一時風平浪靜，也懂得小不忍則亂大謀，更明了百忍成金的道理。所以很多時候，當華人在海外受到不公平對待時，很少會看到華人走上街頭示威或群起騷亂。基本上，我們是個愛好和平的民族。華人的金玉良言裡就有一句叫息事寧人。但是，善良的人、會以德報怨的人就必須永遠受欺凌嗎？也許是時候，華人必須讓全世界知道，雖然我們總會化干戈為玉帛，但是華人的容忍也是有限度的。

　　　　 If you have watched TV， read newspapers， or turned on the radio this past several days， you may heard of the riots in Indonesia‧ News media are telling us the Indonesian Pribumis （Malay） people are rising up against the Suharto dictatorship‧ We are told that the Indonesia poor Malay suffered a lot under Suharto’s corrupted regime， and they wanted change‧
　　　　
　　　　 如果您最近幾天收看電視，看報紙，聽廣播，您可能已經聽說了印尼發生的暴亂。新聞媒體傳播的消息是，印尼的Pribumis（馬來人）正在反抗蘇哈托的專制。貧苦的馬來人在蘇的獨裁統治下受難多年，現在是他們來改變這種狀況的時候了。

美國通過消滅華人資產階級的方法﹐從華人手上接管企業﹐再從動亂上面弄到印尼政府的統治能力面臨問題﹐進而控制印尼政府﹐然後大舉將印尼國有企業壟斷化。
