因為地域關係, 在美國看到風水學頗為流行, 早安新聞中的花絮還介紹有穿衣風水,
還有新興的風水美髮店(老外開的忘了在哪邊), 都是鑽研此學的老外在介紹的.

在英國，中國外賣（吃）也為了外國人口味而改變，所以外國人吃的中國餐還算是中國餐嗎？在我們的眼中為變質，在外國人眼中仍是中國餐。

風水上也同理。

不過很可惜的是：太多外國人學的風水為黑教密宗林雲先生一派，既不用羅盤，只要擺個八卦平面圖，每間屋的財位，緣份位，事業位皆相同。 —— 對任何中國人而論，相信沒人會接受這是中國傳統風水。在我們的眼中為變質，在外國人眼中仍是中國風水。

他們還學在施風水時要口里念念有詞——念咒加持。

學習煮飯炒菜啦。

黑教密宗林雲先生的風水太易學了。而且在沒比較時怎知真知識是什麼。（不過，他們的巒頭及一般家庭擺設還是與傳統風水相同，如門不可沖床，坐、睡不能無情等。只是他們不用羅盤定向，要愛情順利就在愛情角落放兩顆心——心心相連。根本不用我們熟悉的八宅、九星、飛星及大卦等）
二來，不排除很多人看了風水，因心理因素（如平安、鼓勵、信心等）而自身有改善。

這是一位會傳統中國風水美國女人的看法：

First, much of BH's success is due to its simplicity.
The most simple way almost always becomes the most popular!

People were doing the "macarena" dance like crazy in the US
some years ago - simple and anybody can learn it. How many
want to have to take tango lessons with its many complicated
moves and steps?

Same with FS - people love taking a 2-day BH workshop where
they can learn how to do anything for any house at any time.
How many people want to put in the years of study and practice
with classical FS?

But perhaps most important to BH's success is its use of symbols
for one's intentions.

For example, if you want love, you are told to place several
symbols of love around your house - pictures of two fishes
swimming together, etc. What it does is help remind you of
what you are looking for. And if you are constantly reminded
of what you desire, you will be much more likely to go out
and actively look for it.

Regarding making babies, of course we know that that proper
Form and using Fstars can help with pregnancy (barring any
physical problems).

But it is also well-known that stress reduces a woman's ability
to conceive. I am sure that a calm, confident and reassuring
practitioner of any kind - BH or classical - can have a strong
placebo effect on a distraught and worried couple.
