Holding Together [Union] 66 象曰：'He seeks union and attachment without taking the first (step to such an end):'--there is no possibility of a (good) issue.
彖曰：Holding Together brings good fortune. Inquire of the oracle once again whether you possess sublimity, constancy, and perseverance; Then there is no blame. Those who are uncertain gradually join. Whoever comes too late meets with misfortune.

某縣人攜友人某氏紹介狀來，告曰：「生今有志上京，某貴顯者，為生同縣人，素所相知，欲往求引援，請占諾否如何？」筮得比之觀。

比者地上有水，水土相親，顯見有同鄉之誼。今得上爻，曰「比之無首」，想是未嘗謀面也。足下雖云與貴顯有情誼，平生之交際，恐不信實，或疏闊已久，今往請託，未必見許，故爻辭曰「比之無首，凶」。

後聞往見，果如此占。
